The team is broken into Seniors and Juniors. After the audition the staff will decide where each student falls based on their age and skill level. Competitions are a great way for our students to stay motivated. They will experience creativity from all over the bay area and be rewarded for their hard work in our weekly class. 

These three competitions are mandatory for anyone who commits to the Royal Competition Team. If there is a unexpected conflict that arrives the teacher must be notified as soon as possible. The "Payment Due" column is the date the competition requires all of the entries along with entry fees to be postmarked. RAFA will notify you when the payments are due. The payment covers the entry fees for each of the dances your student will be doing at the competition. RAFA DOES NOT PROFIT FROM THESE ENTRY FEES. The Royal Competition team will always rehearse on Saturday mornings. Students will take one class with their age level and one class with the whole team which insures that each member has at least two dances entered in every competition. Once you have auditioned and been chosen as a member of the team you have the option of entering a solo in the competition as well. More information about entering a solo will be handed out at the first practice.
